Charles Sousa says he wants to ensure northwestern Ontario is competitive this year.
Ontario’s Finance Minister has wrapped up regional pre-budget consultations in Thunder Bay, and says investments will be made in the area to promote economic growth.
He notes the entire province has a roll to play in the region’s future and admits investments in the north have been lacking.
Sousa adds he’s working towards a spring budget, and will be announcing a date in the coming months.
