It looks like it will be a busy construction season in the Dryden area this year.
Dryden’s Chief Building Official Dave Warren says a number of projects are set to go including the construction of a new IGA grocery store and Weyerhaeuser’s recovery boiler project.
Warren also says the auditorium/ learning centre plans are going to tender shortly and the expansion of Extra Foods should get underway this summer.
In addition, Wal-Mart and Murphy Oil have confirmed they want to build a gas bar at the store site.
It is scheduled for completion once the Wal-Mart addition is finished in late June.
