Busy Weekend for Fundraisers

A number of fundraisers were held over the weekend to help area kids.
Bill McKinstry and his friends traveled 1,000 kilometres in a day on their
motorbikes Saturday to raise over $5,000 for new playground
equipment for Kinsmen Park.
Canada Safeway held a spaghetti supper and auction Friday and over
$2,000 was raised for Pronger Park playground equipment.
And the Bank of Montreal hosted a family fun day on Saturday in
support of the Dryden Skateboard Park.
The final numbers have not come in from that event.
