A nearly nine hour search for a wanted Calgary man came to a peaceful end in Schreiber.
Provincial Police say 21-year-old Kyle Wescott was found hiding in a sandpit Saturday night.
OPP were first notified of a theft of gas in Thunder Bay during the noon hour.
His vehicle was spotted on Highway 17 but he failed to stop for police.
OPP say Wescott abandoned his vehicle on the side of the road, prompting an air, ground and K9 Unit search.
The accused faces a total of five charges.
