Call Made At Queens Park To Reinstate Program

The Liberal Government has been handed a 6,000 signature petition calling for the reinstatement of the Ontario Park Ranger program.
NDP Natural Resources Critic John Vanthof says the 68-year-old course was instrumental in providing youth with experience, outdoor skills and an opportunity to travel.
Vanthof says more than 78,000 young Ontarians participated before it was axed last year.
The program was successful in several northern communities including Dryden and Sioux Lookout.
