Canada Post is out with a new contract offer for postal workers.
The four-year deal includes wage hikes of 2% every year plus signing bonuses.
There is also a proposal to ban compulsory overtime and hire temporary workers to offset the increased workload from November to January.
New financial services are also proposed, but Canada Post makes no mention of what they may be.
The union says the offer makes some movement a few of its key issues, and the executive is currently reviewing it.
Canada Post says its offer will expire Saturday just before midnight.
