The Canadian Rangers are celebrating their 20th year in northern Ontario with a unique mission.
The Rangers are members of the Canadian Military and are currently crossing the region on snowmachine along Hudson’s Bay.
The mission began at the Ontario-Manitoba boundary.
Captain Mark Rittwage says it’s been a very difficult trip so far as they have been battling bitter cold conditions and incomplete trails.
The Rangers are taking part in a 2-week long surveillance patrol.
