School has just ended, but the Director of Education with the Northwest Catholic District School Board is already looking ahead to next year.
Work on a new multi-year strategic plan is underway.
Brendan Hyatt says it will focus on five key areas; public confidence, achieving excellence, promoting well-being, ensuring equity and catholic faith formation.
Hyatt says they worked collaboratively as an entire system to support all of their goals in the previous plan.
He expects the new document to be ready for trustees in December.
As for 2017/2018, Hyatt is calling his first year at the helm a success, stressing he couldn’t be more proud of their teachers, principles, staff and students at all of their schools.
