The Canadian Federation of Independant Business wants the provincial government to speed up tax cuts in northern Ontario.
Last year, the province announced a 540 million dollars cut to the Business Education Tax which would be phased in over seven years.
Satinder Chera is president of the CFIB and says they handed in hundreds of signed letters from northern Ontario businesses demanding the tax cut be phased in faster.

Chera says they presented the letters to Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle and hopes changes to the Business Education Tax and included in next week’s budget.
