The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is inching closer to
completing a comprehensive character education plan.
Superintendent of Education Larry Hope says they will be giving
$500 to each school principal to help purchase educational materials.
Hope says the Board’s plan contains elements from first nation
grandfather teachings.
He adds character education will be unique to each school and should be
fully implemented by September.
