The O.P.P. say it has charged a 55 year old truck from Barrie in connection with an accident on Highway 17 east of Kenora.
The collision took place near the junction of Highway 71 Thursday afternoon.
Police say a tractor-trailor unit was pulling out from a rest stop but failed to yield for traffic.
A semi carrying a load of live cattle was unable to slow down in time and ran into the other rig.
While both trucks sustained extensive damage, neither driver
was injured and the cattle were unharmed.
The highway re-opened to two-way traffic around 6:00 last night.
