CHARGES UPDATED: Man In Custody Following Break And Enter

Dryden Police are reporting a man in custody following a break and enter that occurred on Wednesday.

Police say yesterday at around 4:30pm they received a call of a break and enter of a home on Highway 17 near Thunder Lake Road.

Police say the owners found when they arrived that someone had entered their home by smashing a window and removed numerous items.

Dryden Police conducted a crime scene examination and searched Highway 17 where they arrested a suspect at around 7:32pm last night.

Police say 33 year old Bernard Able Rae of Sandy Lake is facing charges of Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property and four counts of failing to comply with court orders originating out of the Thunder Bay area.

UPDATE: Dryden Police have also laid additional charges of break and enter on Rae in connection to a second incident to a home on Highway 17.

Rae remains in custody and will appear in bail court in Sioux Lookout later today.
