The Northwestern Health Unit hosted a special training program this past Wednesday that will produce more qualified “Children’s Restraint System Technicians” for our area.
Members of police services as well as local health units, family services, Dryden children’s resource centre and others from several area communities attended the workshop at the Dryden Fire Hall. Those completing the program are qualified to instruct parents on the proper installation of infant and car seats in family vehicles. In Dryden, regular clinics are held by appointment through the Dryden Fire Service.
