For the first time, the City of Dryden will host Lions members from across northwestern Ontario and northeastern Minnesota for their Midwinter Convention.
The three day gathering is being held at the Best Western Plus.
Dryden Lions member Todd Kropelin says the theme is “Come Together Under The Northern Lights” and hopes to highlight sights of our region.
Some 165-guests, representing 28-clubs are expected to attend, including International Director Nicolin Moore from Trinidad-Tobago.
There will be workshops and guest speakers focusing on five pillars; Hunger, Childhood Cancer, Vision, Diabetes and Environment.
