There are now stronger controls in place for how the City of Dryden doles out cash for community groups and organizations.
Chief Administrative Officer Ernie Remillard says a new donation policy has been established.
He says a yearly 20-thousand dollar fund has been established and he will be in charge of administering the funds.
Remillard says there will be an application process with a rigid criteria when seeking a City donation.
One of the rules is a 3-thousand dollar maximum contribution per year, per group and Remillard stresses it’s his goal to move quickly on submitted application.
