If you are concerned about the possible closure of the Barclay Fire Hall, this is your chance to speak up!
A meeting is being held tonight at the Ukranian Hall at 7pm to prepare a presentation to speak against the City’s motion to close Fire Hall #2.
The meeting tonight will discuss safe and adequate fire protection, fire insurance increases for many residents, inequity of fire protection services, disparities that exist between Dryden taxpayers and to clarify information.
Attendees are also recommended to bring a current tax statement, current insurance costs, a statement from an insurance provider of what your predicted insurance costs will be and a written statement of what your concerns are.
All this information will be put together for a presentation to City Council on Tuesday May 9th at 6:30 at the Centre.
