CKDR News Poll Shows Respondents Not Fully Behind Health Care Levy

Physician Recruiter Chuck Schmitt will continue to pitch a health care levy to area communities this week. He’s scheduled to meet with officials in Machin and Ignace. Schmitt is asking municipal councils to collect the money on their behalf to pay for capital purchases at the Dryden hospital. A recent CKDR poll found 59% of you aren’t willing to shell out $18 a year for upgrades.
