Clarification on Eco-Energy Efficiency Program

Kenora MP Greg Rickford says the Eco-Energy efficiency program wasn’t cut short.
His office is reacting to reports that the program was suddently halted over the weekend.
The Conservative Government says the retrofit program successfully reached its goal of 250,000 registered homeowners, the magic number originally set for the end of the initiative.
The Government has also announced an additional $117-million in grants for successful applicants.
People already signed up for the program have until June 30th to have their follow up home evaluation.
