D&S Auto Glass, The Regions Only Auto Glass Shop is looking to fill the following position

Front Counter/ Service Writer

This is a full-time permanent position Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Starting wage is $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications.  Benefits available after successfully completing 90 day probationary period.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• 90% of the job requires speaking on the phone and in person with customers, co-workers and suppliers therefore the candidate must be able to speak clearly and effectively in the English language.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries and repairs.
• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow efficiently to maximize shop productivity.
• Handle phone and emails from customers pertaining to price quotes for auto glass, auto glass repairs and installation products.
• Intake and assist walk-ins, appointments, and returning customers.
• Create estimates, price quotes, and invoices for auto glass work.
• Answer phones and return customer calls.
• Provide excellent customer service

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ensure accuracy when ordering parts.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities under pressure.
• Must have a positive attitude and customer service mindset.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Drivers license in good standing is an asset.  Driver’s abstract required.
• Be attentive to details.
• Must have the ability work under conditions of frequent interruptions.

Education and Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent
