CN Trains Still Rolling Following Tentative Deal

There appears to be labour peace at Canadian National Railway.

A tentative deal has been reached between CN and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference.

Terms of the agreement won’t be released until union members have an opportunity to review the document.

The Union says it withdrew its strike notice when the company agreed not to impose unilateral changes to the collective agreement, allowing a deal to be reached.

Some 3,000 conductors, trainmen and yardmen were scheduled to walk off the job Tuesday morning, however it remains business as usual.
