Coal Plant in Atikokan

The Commissioner of Alternative Energy believes NDP Leader Howard Hampton is quite proud to close every coal plant in Ontario.
Frustration is growing in Atikokan surrounding the future of its coal-fired Hydro facility.
Steve Gilchrist says the NDP and Liberals plan to put those workers out of work by 2006.
Gilchrist says the Tories platform is that everyone will have jobs until 2015 or until the plant wears down.
