New Gold and the Seven Generations Education Institution are strengthening their relationship under a new collaboration agreement.
The agreement will help train and educate individuals for potential jobs with New Gold and its operations in northwestern Ontario.
New Gold spokesperson Grant Goddard says he’s already seen successes from the partnership at their mine north of Barwick.
Seven Generations says it has seen a 90% success rate of students who’ve taken programs connected to mining and other related sectors.
