The Director of Education for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says they are as close to a balanced budget as the could possibly be.
Sean Monteith calls it a major victory, given the fact they have seen significant reductions in special education funding.
Monteith adds increased enrolment helped their numbers this past year.
He says staff have done a great job to find savings, without impacting critical programs and services.
