More people in Northwestern Ontario will be able to get
an appointment for a colonoscopy, thanks to a 300-thousand
dollar donation by the Thunder Bay Regional Health
Sciences Foundation.
The money will be split between the Thunder Bay, Kenora,
Dryden, Fort Frances and Marathon hospitals.
Chair Ken Bittle says it just seemed like common sense
to purchase more colonoscopy equipment for the region.

The funding announcement on Tuesday is in conjunction
with Cancer Awareness Month.
