Common Voice Once Again Warning Of Power Shortage

The province is once again being asked to ensure northwestern Ontario has the necessary power to operate.
The Common Voice Northwest Energy Task Force warns of a severe shortage starting as early as next year.
Chair Iain Angus stresses the government must move forward with the conversion of the Thunder Bay generating station.
Angus says the conversion to natural gas would take two years so they need to act now.
Angus notes they plan to speak with the Minister of Energy in February, if not sooner, about their concerns.
