Common Voice, the economic development initiative launched by the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association, is getting the cold should from Grand Council Treaty #3.
Treaty Three representitives attended the N.O.M.A. conference in Thunder Bay last week, but refused to endorse the concept.
Fred Greene is the political advisor for Treaty Three and says they have already have their own processes which have been successful in developing positive relationships with mining and forestry companies in the area.
