A feeding of wildlife bylaw is now in place in the City of Dryden.
The bylaw easily passed a Council vote last night, which means residents can no longer intentionally feed deer and other wild animals.
Enforcement will be carried out on a complaint basis and fines can reach $300.
Bird feeders must be 6-feet above ground under the new rules.
Meantime, Council also approved a 40% tax relief requested by Patricia Gardens.
The Seniors Centre will receive a yearly grant of roughly $7,000 up until 2010.
The City is able to provide a tax rebate for local non-profit organizations.
