Crisis Response Unit Bases Itself in Dryden

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is now overseeing crisis response services in the Kenora and Rainy River District.
Officials say programs and services won’t change, but the Hospital will now be managing the program in Dryden, Red Lake and Fort Frances.
Darlene Furlong is the Vice-President of Patient Services and says they have a housing unit in Dryden.
Furlong says there is a stabilization unit which has safe beds, detox beds and recently implemented a residential and outpatient detox program.
All other aspects of the service remain the same.
