The number crunching continues from Monday’s CKDR radio telethon in support of the CT Scan renewal fund at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Fundraising and Recruitment Coordinator Chuck Schmitt says they are now well over the $400,000 mark.
Schmitt says the early success of the $1.25-million campaign has been a true team effort.
Dryden Health Services Foundation Chair Kelly Sobering says the response from the community has been overwhelming and is thanking everyone for their support.
She says equipment is an essential part of daily operations at the hospital.
Sobering says the CT Unit will keep patients and physicians here at home.
