DDC Hires Two Groups To Conduct Long-Term Study

The Dryden Development Corporation is looking to the future.

The DDC has hired Millier Dickinson Blais and OCO Global to carry out its five-year economic development and implementation strategic plan.

The project will provide a working framework with goals and measures to assist in business retention and expansion as well as new investment.

The DDC will also work with the consultants to maximize current resources, recruit a new Economic Development Manager and position the City for success in years to come.

It’s not known when work on the plan will start.

MDB is Canada’s largest specialist economic consulting firm and works with both public and private sector clients.

They work to facilitate strategic planning for economic and business development as well as investment growth and attraction.

The group has led projects in Greenstone, Hearst, Manitouwadge, Marathon, Red Rock and locally for the PACE catchment area.

OCO is a globally recognized leader in economic development and foreign investment advice and has delivered over 350 assignments around the world.
