Delegates are making the long journey north to Pickle Lake for the annual Kenora District Municipal Association convention.
A number of resolutions will be up for discussion and a number of contentous issues will also be debated.
A large block of time has been set aside to discuss a proposal for an Area Services Board.
The district of Kenora Unorganized Ratepayers Association is sponsoring that resolution.
Ingrid Parkes is President of the K-D-M-A and says most municipal leaders shes talked to are not interested in pursuing that issue just yet.
The future of the Northwest Recycling Association will also be discussed.
Although no formal presentation will be made by the association, delegates will talk about the recent exodus of Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Alberton and Kenora.
