Design work on Dryden’s Skateboard Park has begun.
The facility in Dryden Rotary Club Park will be 13,000 sq/ft and cost some $170,000.
Vancouver based designer Jim Barnum recently visited the site and he says it’s a prime location and will result in economic spin-offs for the City.
Barnum says there is the possibility of building satellite parks in the future but construction on the main facility could start late this summer.
More than $80,000 has been raised to date.
