The Ministry of Natural Resources is reminding hunters it’s illegal to shoot from, down, or across a public road.
The reminder comes after a Georgian Bluffs man was fined $2,000 for such action south of Red Lake back in 2013.
Court heard Scott Morgan shot four times at a cow moose at a vehicle entrance to a gravel pit where other hunters were camping.
Morgan has also been banned from hunting in Ontario for one year.
