An uplifting and empowering experience for children with cancer.
Area youth are being encouraged to apply for Camp Quality, a week long get away on Loon Lake, north of Thunder Bay.
Ashleigh Quarrell was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday and she stated participants will take part in a number of activities and sports.
Quarrell stresses attending the camp and travel to the area is free.
The camp is for kids aged 4 until 18.
Quarrell notes it’s an opportunity for cancer survivors and a sibling to escape and focus on enjoying life.
