Domtar Supporting Community Groups In Dryden

Domtar in Dryden has provided some early Christmas presents for members of the community.

The companies Earthchoice Ambassadors recently packed up 250 special comfort and care bags and delivered them to the Hoshizaki House and Dryden Regional Health Centre.

The bags contained books and diapers and is made possible through a partnership with First Book, an educational non-profit organization.

The Dryden Public Library and Dryden Indigenous Homeward Bound program were also recipients of gifts, while new books were also delivered to the Christmas Cheer program for their hampers.

Mill General Manager Marie Cyr says they are very focused on youth and literacy at Domtar, and strive to support initiatives where they can foster learning.

Cyr adds supporting their local operating community is very important.
