Motorists in Northwestern Ontario will see a small increase in driver and vehicle license fees.
Effective September 1st, licence plate validation stickers will cost $45, an increase of $4.
In addition, the cost to renew your licence or to get a new one will go up an additional $5, to a total of $80.
The fees for various driver exams will increase by $5-$10.
The Provincial Government says the revenues will go to help cover the rising costs of maintaining roads, bridges and highways, as well as education and health care.
The fees are expected to see similar hikes over the next 2-years.
