Members of the Path of the Paddle Association have hit the water and are embarking on a ten week canoe trip to Whiteshell Provincial Park in Manitoba.
They left Thunder Bay on Tuesday and will paddle through much of Northwestern Ontario visiting over 200-sites.
Carrie Nolan says they’ll be busy documenting their journey in order to promote the 11,000-kilometre water trail.
She notes the trip is about research and clearing debris from the trail.
