Dryden Budget Update

Dryden City Councillors seem to agree that a ten percent tax hike is needed this year.
Senior administrators continue to wrestle with a final budget, which is scheduled to be ready by the end of this month.
The city is dealing with higher levies for municipal services this year from the recycle association, the home for the aged and the Northwestern Health Unit.
Councillor Brian England says nobody wants to raise taxes but a ten percent hike is needed to cope with the increased costs.
Drydenites faced a 8 percent hike last year.
