The Dryden Regional Health Services Foundation is asking the City to consider implementing a health care levy.
The request will be formally made Monday night during the open Council meeting at 7 o’clock.
The Foundation states the hospital is coming under severe financial pressures to maintain a balanced budget.
The levy would be $1.50-a-month, per house hold, and would be collected by the City.
The funds would be designated for the specific purchase of required equipment.
