One member on Dryden Council believes an OPP costing study is inevitable.
Martin MacKinnon says they will listen to both sides, but stresses they need the costing to compare where they are at right now.
MacKinnon says it’s a case of doing their due diligence.
MacKinnon says the Dryden Police Service is an outstanding organization, but they need to know if they are getting their best bang for their buck.
The issue has been held over for debate and a possible vote next month.
He notes Council can’t afford for this issue to drag out.
