The Dryden Fire Service was kept busy by the power brownout this morning.
Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz says the fire service responded to at least 13 calls throughout various parts of South Dryden shortly after 7-AM.
Kurz says most of the calls were minor ranging from smoke and fire alarms ringing to full alarms being activated in some cases.
He adds firefighters were able to remove smoke from three buildings due to furnace motors and electrical items smoking.
