Public Workers Hold Strike Vote

Public sector workers in Northwestern Ontario are joining their counterparts across the province in holding a strike vote.
Members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union haven’t been happy with the way contract talks have been going with the province.
The union is seeking higher salaries and job security.
There are about four thousand OPSEU members in the Northwest, many of whom work for the Ministries of Natural Resources and Labour and the courts.
Members are holding a strike vote over the next three days.
If approved, public sector workers could be on the picket lines as early as March 13th.
