Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash

A single motor vehicle crash has claimed the life of a 21-year-old Rat Portage man.
First Nations Police say a 1986 Oldsmobile rolled over early Saturday morning in the native community of Rat Portage near Kenora.
Two other occupants of the vehicle, both from Perrault Falls, were treated in hospital and released.
There was a fourth person in the vehicle, but he fled before police arrived.
The man allegedly stole a cab when a tax driver stopped to offer help.
Police eventually found and arrested a 23-year-old Perrault Falls man about 90 minutes later in the Sioux Narrows area.
