Dryden City Council has agreed to apply for provincial funding to fix Duke Street.
The City is making an application under the newly created $100-million Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says the state of Duke Street is a serious safety issue and he has already lobbied the province for funding.
Nuttall will also make a presentation in February at the Good Roads Conference.
The deadline to apply is November 1st.
