When it comes to giving cancer patients the care they need and deserve, the Dryden Regional Health Centre stands above them all.
Cancer Care Ontario has rated our hospital as the number one ranked facility in the province as the top performer in shortest wait times from the time a patient is referred from a family doctor to a specialist, and then from the time the specialist gets that patient to get the procedure done.
Dr. George Rabbat is a General Surgeon at the Hospital and President of Medical Staff at the facility.
Rabbat says the acknowledgment is a testament of the work being done at the hospital.
He says it shows that everyone is together on the same page as per the direction from administration.
Dr. Rabbat stresses they are one professional team at the hospital, crediting the symmetry between administration and staff.
He notes the acknowledgment also tells him the hospital is performing well on other aspects of care that they provide as specialists.
