Dryden Rotary Honours Communities Finest

The Dryden Rotary Club has honoured a number of individuals for their work to make our community a better place to live in.

The organization handed out its Paul Harris Fellowship Awards Wednesday night at the Centre.

Music and Arts students, community members and volunteers with Rotary were recognized.

Michelle Teeple with the Provincial Police in Dryden and Ignace was among those honoured.

Teeple says this is an amazing acknowledgment of the work they are doing to end drinking and driving.

She says it’s rewarding to know that Rotary is aware of public awareness campaigns being carried out by the Dryden/Ignace Impairment Reduction Strategy.
