The Dryden Regional Health Centre is out with its final 2016-2017 Annual Report.
Chief Administrative Officer Wade Petranik says they have seen significant improvement in a number of areas, including patient experience and wait times for several procedures.
Petranik says he is proud of his staff and pleased with the feedback received, noting one visitor commented that the hospital is “a little organization with a whole lot going on”.
However, Petranik points out that they are always looking at improvements.
He says they will be taking a deeper dive into emergency room wait times.
Petranik says wait times are on the rise, noting the hospital has seen an increase in the volume of patients.
