The Dryden Regional Health Centre is showing a nice clean audit report for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
The hospital is reporting a surplus of roughly $325,000.
Chief Executive Officer Wade Petranik admits it was a bit of a different year for the facility but he’s happy that they finished in the black.
Petranik says the surplus is due to factors such as increased government funding of 1% as well as lower in-patient occupancy rates at the beginning of the year.
He notes they were running about 60% to normal capacity.
