Young basketball players from both Red Lake and Dryden got a taste of victory on the weekend.
Open Roads School hosted an exhibition basketball series for students in Grade 4, 5 and 6.
The Wolves won the first game in convincing fashion, while Red Lake bounced back with a ten point victory in the second meeting.
Outstanding players in the series for Open Roads included Deason Berrey, Jeremy Reid, Braydon Lefebvre, Amy Armstrong and Bella Reid.
Standout efforts were put in by Red Lake’s Brody Wilkins, Xander Wesolowski, Owen Procyk and Clint Anongos.
