Dryden Mayor In Toronto For Good Roads

A full agenda for the Mayor of Dryden at the Ontario Good Roads conference in Toronto.
Craig Nuttall has arranged meetings with a handful of Ministers and Ministry representatives.
He has an invite only meeting with Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Glenn Murray and he plans to lobby for Connecting Link funding to fix Duke Street.
Nuttall calls Duke Street his number one priority and will be pushing for 90% funding for badly needed repairs.
Municipal property assessments of course will be top of mind for Nuttall as well.
He says MPAC is still out of control and is doing things behind the Ministers back.
Nuttall also plans to meet with the Minister of Community Safety about increased court costs and rising policing costs due to arbitration.
The Dryden Police Services Board is concerned about staffing court on a full time level without the proper funding.
It has suggested they have to hand over the service to Provincial Police.
